The Inn at West End

The Inn @ West End is one of the best pubs in the region of Surrey. Chosen as pub of the year in 2007, it is more than just a country pub, it is what is now called a gastropub. While the English pub in general only serves basic food to absorb alcohol, gastro pubs offer a selection of meals, wine or beer, a wine list that fits the daily menu etc. for a better dynamic between the food and drink. Here we can see that the owners love good food. The products are local and fresh, they have a garden where they grow herbs and some vegetables and a fish tank. And the same for the wine, they import it themselves from Portugal and Spain.
