The Hoe

The Hoe is the hill that overlooks the city of Plymouth, facing the sea. This is where you'll find the famous lighthouse, Smeaton's Tower, and the welcome message for the ferries that dock at the port. On the Hoe, there are wide green spaces where people often have barbecues, as well as a large paved plaza popular with skateboarders and rollerbladers.
