Typical Photo of Guilin
One of the most visited places in Guilin is Elephant Trunk Hill. Located on the confluence of the Rivers Li and Taohua. It received its name because it resembles an elephant sucking the river with its trunk. You have to pay admission to visit the entire site. The hole between the "trunk" of the elephant and the body is called Crescent Cave. Across the hill there vantage points, which you have to pay for, and outstanding works of the Tang, Song, Ming and Qing dynasties.
