Porte de Saint Jacques

The Gate of Saint Jacques is one of the front doors of this beautiful medieval fortified city. This gate is classified by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Even today a lot of pilgrims ve make their way to Santiago stop by this gate. It is precisely, St Jean Pied de Port, the last stage of the Camino de Santiago before the Pyrenees.
