The Flower Market

Great supply of flowers! My mother is a real flower lover - she was so happy to get some of the great tulips from this market! Looking forward to see them blooming next spring.

I know…flowers. Big deal, right? Wrong! The Flower Market in Amsterdam was one of my favorite parts of the trip. The colors and smells of the thousands of flowers complement Amsterdam perfectly. After all, it’s the country of tulips! But it’s not just flowers either. You can get food, cheese, garden tools, and tulip bulbs to bring home as gifts. This is the perfect place to spend a relaxing morning walking around and soaking in the Dutch atmosphere.

Most of the shops will be selling the same things in there, but is an opportunity to experience an unique market and live the flower culture in Holland.
