Impressive Scottish beach
In East Inverness, towards the coast, is Findhorn Bay, where we find one of the best beaches in Scotland. Its size is impressive, adorned with its dunes, its cold waters and crystal-white sands. Locally it's known as whales beach, because it's quite common to see whale families swimming off the coast here. The name does not do the beach justice as you can see dolphins and seals here too. In fact, it's normal to see local families spending the day here with binoculars, sitting on the sand waiting to see some of the species listed above. Strolling along the secluded and almost savage beach is a pleasure, especially to those who like quiet places and the absence of noise.
