The Engine Room had such great ratings, and they were all truthful. I recently visited for their boozy brunch and enjoyed everything about it. The atmosphere was fun and relaxed, the staff friendly, and the food delicious. The open-plan kitchen was also a fun touch, as you could see the chefs preparing the meals. The highlight of this outstanding brunch for me was the individual Dutch apple pancake. Forget everything else on the menu and order this without hesitation. The cornbread is also really delicious. Do make reservations or be prepared for a wait, as they are very popular.
