The Dikens Tavern
After having left our luggage at the Royal Eagle Hotel, we decided to do a little sightseeing before dinner. We went into a traditional Old Town Tavern named after the famous British writer, Chales Dickens. He was the author of "Oliver Twist" and "David Cooperfield" among others. It is a typical tavern, from the tables, chairs and counter and pool tables and big screen TV. That day had pea soup and ham, pork sausage and onion, beef and ale pie, roast beef or chicken and apple pie for dessert. The wide variety of beers and wine are among its specialties and the dish of the day consisting British fish and chips, and drinks included which cost £ 7.95 It is open from Monday to Saturday from 12 noon to 23 hs.
