The Defense line of Amsterdam
Centuries ago and after the Spanish passed through Holland, they decided to create a series of forts around Amsterdam as protection for any attacks. This is the case of Naarden and Muiden. The 1st is a fortified village with its walls and moat in the form of star that can only be seen from above . The idea of this construction was conceived as a result of successive occupations, one of which was that of the troops of Philip II . It is Now is a typical Dutch village, with some interesting construction, but nothing as outstanding as the wall. And in the case of Muiden have the best preserved medieval castle in the whole of Holland, the Muiderslot, which currently houses a large collection of weapons, armor and furniture.
