1 review of The Cathedral of the Isles

Horror movie scenario...at the cathedral!

Excellent

Islands Cathedral and Collegiate Church of the Holy Spirit is made up of a series of buildings with an interesting history. Its tower is the tallest point of the island and has been renovated since being on an island of small size it is exposed to the elements. As in Braemar Castle, the church is maintained by locals who have formed an association and have made it into a hostel. Its origin is controversial but its from around the 16th century although its heyday is due to the actions of George Boyle, Earl of Glasgow, who owned the island and decided to give more strength to this parish with personal investments, His work and insistence, in early 19th century, this church was to be appointed mid-century cathedral, which still endures.

It is a place full of vibration and at night it would be a horror movie scenario ... dead crows in the driveway, bells that ring by the wind ... sunlight does not impress, but the most impressionable, at night could be a trauma ... add wind and storms and the table is set, for lovers of the gothic and terror. A beautiful place, a cathedral different, but somehow can transmitur very strong feelings and vibrations. If I hear of any particular fact, I'll let you know ... in short, a very peculiar corner ... as always to consumer tastes!
