Ca' d'Oro Palace

This facade is one of the nicest you will encounter on your journey through the Grand Canal. It is close to the Rialto Bridge, in the Cannaregio district. Ca'd'Oro Palace is a masterpiece of Venetian Gothic architecture. All the interest focuses on the facade overlooking the Grand Canal. Its facade was decorated with gold leaf. Currently you can see the Franchetti collection of paintings and sculpture.

The Ca D'Oro is a magnificent palace located on the Grand Canal in Venice. It is a symbol of the transition from Gothic to Renaissance art in Venice. This can be seen in the different levels visible in the galleries of the facade. Inside, you can see exhibitions of paintings of Tuscan and Flemish schools, sculptures and bronzes.
