The Banshee Labyrinth

Il Pub The Banshee Labyrinth è uno dei pub più conosciuti di Edimburgo per la sua caratteristica struttura a labirinto. Ogni sala, illuminata con colori diversi e col soffitto molto basso, è caratterizzata da un tema diverso: c'è la sala cinema, la sala biliardo (che io non ho addirittura trovato!!), una sala horror, una discoteca e molto altro ancora. Prima regola: per entrare (e non solo per consumare) bisogna avere almeno 18 anni e all'entrata mostrare la propria carta di identità (anche meglio il passaporto). Seconda regola: il bar può servire solo un quantitativo minimo di alcool per ogni cocktail o shot. Io ho provato ad ordinare un bicchere di whisky e il risultato è stato mezzo dito di bevanda (6 euro). E' un posto molto divertente, il cinema è ad ingresso gratuito e si può passare da una stanza all'altra senza problema (se avete un buon senso dell'orientamento!). Curiosità: si dice che questo pub sia infestato dai fantasmi!

The Pub The Banshee Labyrinth is one of the most popular pubs in Edinburgh for its characteristic labyrinth structure. Each room, illuminated with different colors and with very low ceiling, features a different theme: there"s the cinema room, pool room (which I have not even found !!), a horror room, a nightclub and more yet. First rule: to enter (and not just to consume) must be at least 18 years old and at the entrance to show their identity card (even better passport). Second rule: the bar can serve only a minimum amount of alcohol for every cocktail or shot. I tried to order a bicchere of whiskey and the result was the middle finger of drink (6 Euros). It "a very fun place, the cinema is free admission and you can move from room to room with no problem (if you have a good sense of direction!). Curiosity: it is said that this pub is haunted by ghosts!
