The White Hall of Government House

4 reviews of The White Hall of Government House

Elegant and fine decoration

Inside the building of the Government House, which houses the executive branch of the Province of Tucuman, is the lavish and magnificent White Hall. This hall stands out by an elegant and fine decoration such as incredible chandeliers of rock crystal and polished bronze which glow. On the ceilings are fabrics finely glued and painted by the Spanish artist Julio Vila y Prades (born in Valencia in 1873 and buried in Barcelona in 1930). The restoration of these fabrics was conducted by the artist Santos Legname in 1971.
