THA Pa Daeng Shrine

Built in the late 12th century, it is thought to be related to the temples of Angkor Wat in Cambodia in the Khmer style. Hindu character is believed to be the period in which King Suriyavarman II reigned in Cambodia between the years 1113 and 1150 AD. Many valuable objects and figures of gods are kept today in the Museum Ramkhamhaeng. During the times of Rama V this temple was included on maps and is near the north gate of the wall.
