Territorial Museum of Bolsena Lake

The Museum Territoriale di Bolsena lake (Viterbo) showcases the geological and archaeological records and nature of the region of Bolsena. The entrance of the museum has views of a Greek marble bath with a sarcophagus decorated with scenes of worship. The second room has Roman inscriptions. In the geological section there are several rock samples, such as a large volcanic bomb. There is also a section devoted to the natural life on the shores of Lake Volsiniese.
