Terrace of Hotel Caravelle

The terrace of the Hotel Caravelle is the most well known thing about this hotel. It is quite expensive - with an entrance fee payable at street level and high drinks prices ie: 105,000 Dongs for a beer (over € 4). The Caravelle's regular clientele are tourists, many of whom are staying in the hotel or other large hotels nearby. However, the high quality of the band (Cuban musicians) that play there every night (at least in 2009) can justify the prices of the drinks and you can even dance some salsa, cumbia and merengue.
