Absolute relaxation in the Alps at 35 degrees

Excellent

A must for architects and architecture lovers. In the tiny Swiss village of Vals this hotel-spa welcomes you, it's extension is signed by Peter Zumthor and for this project the Swiss architect received the Pritzker Prize, the highest honor in architecture worldwide. The silence is such that it leaves the mind completely blank. There are several pools at different temperatures, saunas, sunbeds and, above all, a great peace with Alpine views. From Zurich, you have to go on the motorway to Chur, once there, continue towards Ilanz. Here begins the last stretch of mountain road (in very good condition) up to Vals.

You'll have access to the hotel and cross the bridge on the sixth floor. Entry for a day costs 40 francs (about 34 euros). Now more than ever, images speak louder than words so here are some pictures.
