Luxurious, trendy, and very delicious
While I usually ignore the fads of the restaurant world, I’ve got nothing but good things to say about this place. Let me explain. This is one of Madrid’s trendiest restaurants. One of those places that everyone talks about and wants to go to, but that isn’t so easy to get a reservation in. In fact, getting a reservation is an out-and-out fight. But how is the restaurant? 10 out of 10.
It’s divided, as I understood it, into two parts: an informal bar area and then a more formal restaurant. The decoration and atmosphere are perfect to allow you to focus on what the restaurant does best: the food. I left with the sensation that you could order anything and be happy with it. Here I tried one of the most delicious dishes of my life: the semolina risotto with truffles, a spectacular plate that left me craving three or four more! I won’t explain the sensation (I don’t want to ruin the surprise) but I’ll leave it at “it’s worth the visit.” We also tried the artichoke lasagna, a superb dish, and the ox-tail sliders, even more tender and delicious than the sliders at La Morgana. We also ordered (we were a big group) the steak tartar which had just the right amount of spice. The only thing we weren’t wild about was the couscous. But, with a few slight adjustments, it’ll be out of this world.
