Hindu temple in Dal Lake
Arriving at Dal lake, Meena, invites us to take a lunch on the steps of a temple near the lake there. Arriving at the temple, while enjoying tea outside, Meena tells us that it's dedicated to the Hindu goddess Kali. It's a very small building with a little temple where people make their offerings and a pair of stone figures of some strange animal. Right there we sat down, Meena tells us more about the history of this goddess tantric Named after Kala Kali: Kali means "black" (but this black has the honor of being the first creation before the light) and Kala "time", so Kali is the goddess of time and change and is considered the most important of the Dasa Mahavidyas (ten Tantric goddesses).
