Aquí los turistas indios y los visitantes (forasteros y extranjeros), vienen a rezar y/o a hacer alguna ofrenda o ritual religioso. Sin embargo los habitantes de Kohlapur lo tienen como un centro social, un lugar en donde reunirse. Vimos muchos jóvenes estudiando, vimos grupos de mujeres que se sientan a hablar de sus cosas y vimos muchos grupos de hombres que se juntan aquí para contarse su día a día. Un gran templo, grandísimo, con aires de “plaza del pueblo “. Así hicimos nosotros; nos sentamos y dejamos ver pasar el día, haciendo amigos y nuevas amistades. El templo data de la época medieval, aunque nadie supo decirnos en que siglo exactamente fue construido.
