Happening across the Temple of Diana ruins in the evening fog was, for me, otherworldly. Something out of a storybook. I took the opportunity to enhance that vision by creating a ghostly backlit image of a person at the base of the Temple. That person was me! A true photographer "selfie" that I will never forget.
Portugal is so close, yet so far. From Spain, we are on the back of our neighbours. But for them, no. One of the best ways to get to, or come back from, is through the Ribatejo area, because there's nothing better than visiting Évora. Everything there is attractive. The streets and the well maintained facades breath history. There's also the "star monument", the temple of Diana, which is probably the best preserved Roman ruins on the Iberian Peninsula.
