Teatro Brunet

Fundado por un noble cubano en 1841, las ruinas de este teatro todavía se mantienen en pie recordando su existencia a todo aquel que se acerque por allí. Fue un teatro imponente con la forma de coliseo, donde se reunía la sociedad culta, refinada y rica de la época. De hecho, tal era su importancia, que era reconocido por aquel entonces como el mejor teatro del Departamento Central de Cuba. Aunque ahora en su interior simplemente haya un bar, quizás pasar por allí y recordar sus años de gloria, haga que no quede del todo en el olvido.

Founded by a Cuban nobleman in 1841, the ruins of the theater still remain standing remembering its existence to anyone who comes by all. It was an imposing theater shaped like Coliseum, where the cultured, refined and rich little society meets. In fact, such was its importance, it was recognized at the time as the best theater in the Central Department of Cuba.
