Lovely place to people watch
Taverna Trata is located in the small square near the Venetian harbor of Heraklion. Unsurprisingly, the views are great and it's a lovely place to just sit out and people watch. I had a very nice lunch with stuffed tomatoes (be careful...in Crete, if you choose "stuffed tomatoes" you end up with a single tomato and pepper with a simple rice filling). The service is efficient and friendly too.
