Tartaruga Beach

This beautiful beach has the name 'tartaruga' because in the not too distant past turtles come up on to it to lay their eggs there. Tartaruga is located on the opposite side to where the largest part of Buzios beaches are , but worth a detour, because it's really quite amazing. The strip of sand is bounded on one side by large rocks that go into the sea, where they form beautiful natural pools. The site is amazing for photographers, as the scenery is stunning.
