Spectacular views
Tarmangie Hill is classified as a Donald, with its summit reaching 645 meters high. It's not the highest point in the Ochil Hills, but it still offers spectacular views when the weather allows. It separates two valleys from one another, the Glen of Sorrows and the Glen Sherup. You can access it by the Dollar Loop, a path through the area. It's not too difficult, and you can approach the hill from different angles. In fact, it's recommended locally for beginners, but you shouldn't let your guard down because of the likelihood of cloud coverage and fog. It takes more than 3 hours, so it's not one for very small kids.
