Tamblingan Lake

Lake Tamblingan is hidden away between the two lakes that occupy an ancient caldera in the mountains of central Bali. This lake can be reached by a path that starts from Pancasari on the shores of Lake Buyan. The stagnant water isn't ideal for a dip, but if you love walking in the forest and the chance to see a bit of wildlife (especially birds), then you can take a short hike up here. From the road that leads to Munduk and then Seririt there is an excellent overview of both lakes. Not far away is the town of Bedugul and the famous temple Pura Ulun Danau Beratan
