Casa Tamargo

Tamargo è una splendida casa coloniale nel centro di Trinidad a due passi dalla plaza Mayor, dipinta di un blu intenso che si confonde col cielo cubano. Ma a fare la differenza è l'ospitalità di Felix e Matilde che gestiscono questa casa particular in maniera impeccabile, dall'accoglienza alla cura di ogni dettaglio per far sentire gli ospiti veramente 'a casa'. Il benvenuto è stato servito assieme al cocktail tipico della città (la canchanchara), servito da Felix, che ama intrattenere gli ospiti. Chi si ferma qui davvero non vuole più andarsene, anche perché la cucina sopraffina - nella quale, con un'aiutante, si impegna la stessa padrona di casa - fa impallidire molti ristoranti e paladar a tempo pieno (serve anche piatti vegetariani oltre all'aragosta e al maiale che, alla base della cucina cubana, è sempre ottimo). Le stanze forse non sono grandi, ma impeccabili e dotate di aria condizionata e ventilatori, affacciate su uno splendido patio dove è bello tirar tardi. Tamargo is a beautiful colonial house in the center of Trinidad a few steps from the Plaza Mayor, painted a deep blue that blends with the sky Cuban. But to make a difference is the hospitality of Felix and Matilda running this casa particular in an impeccable manner, from openness to care of every detail to make guests feel truly 'at home'. The welcome was served along with the typical cocktail of the city (Canchanchara), served by Felix, who loves to entertain guests. Who stops here really does not want to go, because the excellent cuisine - in which, with a helper, commits the same owner - dwarfing many restaurants and paladar full-time (also caters for vegetarians as well as lobster and the pig, at the base of Cuban cuisine, is always great). The rooms are perhaps not large, but clean and equipped with air conditioning and fans, overlooking a beautiful patio where it is nice staying up late.
