TAM Museum

O tour começa com a linha do tempo da história da aviação, com réplicas, vídeos, manuscritos e detalhes incríveis. Tudo é muito limpo e organizado e o acervo de aeronaves é enorme. Fecha bem cedo, é bom chegar com pelo menos 2h de antecedência. Eles têm uma lojinha bem legal e também lanchonete e espaço kids, que não cheguei a conhecer. É um dos melhores pontos turísticos de São Carlos e região, vale a visita! :)

The tour begins with the timeline of the history of aviation, with replicas, videos, manuscripts and incredible detail. Everything very clean and organized and the huge aircraft inventory. Closes early, good to arrive at least 2 hours in advance. They have a really cool little shop and also cafeteria and space kids, in which I got to know. one of the best touristic points of So Carlos and region, worth a visit! :)

Um dos poucos museus do mundo mantidos por uma companhia aérea privada está no interior de São Paulo. A cidade de São Carlos conta, desde 2006, com o Museu da TAM, antes conhecido como Museu Asas de um Sonho. Para homenagear a aviação e, principalmente seu fundador o comandante Rolim Adolfo Amaro, a TAM inaugura a instalação que conta com material contando a história da empresa e também da aviação mundial. Além de contar com documentos e informações sobre a companhia e sobre a história da avião, o museu expõe cerca de 100 aeronaves. Desde réplicas do 14-bis até aviões utilizados na Segunda Guerra Mundial. O local é um dos pontos turísticos favoritos de quem gosta de aviação e daqueles que querem ver alguns modelos de aeronaves de perto. Se você é uma destas pessoas e estiver por São Carlos ou região, vale a pena fazer uma visita e conhecer o museu e as aeronaves que estão ali.
