The best hostel around Taipei
I arrived in Taipei after travelling through Southeast Asia for about eight or nine weeks and I can say that this hostel is far and away the best we stayed in during our Asian travels. The staff (young people of various nationalities) are gracious, friendly, and happy to help you with anything you might need. They organise parties at the weekend, or if it's your birthday while you're staying - as it was in my case. There's always something to celebrate! The facilities are great, clean, new and well-maintained. The showers and bathrooms are always, ALWAYS clean, despite being communal for the whole hostel.
They have a kitchen and a lounge where you can rest, relax, play guitar, or just chill out. The rooms are nice, with air conditioning. They are spacious and comfortable - no-frills but adequate. It's close to a subway station, with a supermarket nearby, a 7-Eleven and some restaurants. You're just three minutes from one of the most popular pubs in Taipei, the Roxy 99. All this for a great price!
