Homemade Japanese food in the subway
Taiconya is one of many restaurants selling homemade Japanese food in the subway. This one is specifically within the Ryokuchi-Koen station on the Kita-Kyu line which connects the northern suburbs of Osaka. The type of food on offer is katsu, different combinations of breaded meat accompanied by miso soup, noodles or rice, and salad. The food is not spectacular, but it is good, home-style cooking. As I lived near this station, I had lunch here quite often before taking the metro to the center. The service is fast and good.
