Serenity next to the temples
Some people go in search of the bustle of Bangkok, and others run away from it. At the end of Ayudhaya Road, a half hour walk from Khao Sn Road, you'll find several inns and good restaurants, all of which are nice and cheap. The Taewez is one of the nicest, with a restaurant, a garden with a pond and small temple, and basic, but spotless rooms, and starting at 9 euros for a single. A very complete breakfast is included, and the wifi is free for guests. I spent 6 nights here.
