Located opposite the River Duero, with spectacular views towards the city of Porto, this restaurant of Vila Nova de Gaia is ideal for an informal meal enjoyed on its terrace. The tavern specializes in all types of seafood, fried sardines, cheeses, and the famous bacalao. The place is one of the oldest of the Vila Nova de Gaia. It has an excellent winery.

I would recommend you STAY AWAY FROM THIS RESTAURANT. Our aparthotel recommended the place, but we were completely disappointed with the service received. One of the waiters was utterly rude when I couldn´t understand him and asked him to repeat what he had just said. Even though I speak Portuguese and English, I could not understand his strong accent, both in English or Portuguese. Because I politely asked him to repeat what he had said, he replied with a very bitter tone and had the vulgarity to come and argue with me after I told his colleague we were not going to eat there anymore because we did not like the way he treated us.
