Taberna la Cazuela de la Espartería

This tavern is very close to the Plaza de La Corredera. It is a typical tavern from Cordoba where you can eat well either standing, leaning on giant barrels or sitting on small wooden tables. The service is very fast and the food is delicious. From a rich gazpacho, an oxtail to the well known eggplant with honey and tigers. It is also quite well priced.

La Cazuela de la Espartería es un restaurante típico de Córdoba, donde tanto a mediodía como a la hora de la cena te puedes dar un buen homenaje gastronómico. Es bastante asequible, incluso más que ir de tapas por la mezquita. El plato tradicional es el rabo de toro, aunque nos decantamos por carrillada y bacalao dorado y también son recomendables. Se suele llenar, así que con paciencia o haz reserva en el 957488952

The Espartería Casserole is a typical restaurant of Cordoba, where both lunch and dinner when you can give a good tribute gastronomy. It is quite affordable, even more than tapas in the mosque. Delizioso salmorejo. Ottime berenjenas...

Delizioso salmorejo. Ottime berenjenas al salmon (melanzane fritte con filetti di salmone e una salsa calda ai gamberi). Personale gentile nonostante il sovraffollamento del pranzo della domenica.

Delicious salmorejo. Excellent berenjenas to salmon (salmon fillets with fried eggplant and a hot sauce with shrimp). Friendly despite the overcrowding of the Sunday lunch.

El local es muy acogedor y sencillo....

El local es muy acogedor y sencillo. Justo lo contrario del escaparate exterior, muy barroco. Tiene una pequeña barra donde tomar algo mientras esperas. A nosotros nos tocó esperar un buen rato hasta que nos dieron mesa, pero mereció la pena. Recomiendo el rabo de toro, delicioso, pero sobre todo unas berenjenas con salmón espectaculares, de lo mejor que he probado en Córdoba. ¡Qué rico estaba aquello! De precio bastante bien. Las dos raciones (generosas) y unas cervezas por 24€ (marzo 2010)

The place is very cozy and simple. Just outside the window opposite, very baroque. It has a small bar where a drink while you wait. To us we had to wait a while until we got table but worth it. I recommend the oxtail, delicious, but especially a spectacular salmon aubergines, the best I've had in Cordoba. How nice was that! Pretty good price. The two portions (generous) and a few beers for 24 € (March 2010)

Sitio muy recomendable para tapear, donde se pueden degustar todos los platos típicos de Córdoba, desde el salmorejo hasta el flamenquin. Si queréis comer allí, tened un poco de paciencia porque los fines de semana esta siempre hasta la bola.

En el centro de Córdoba, llegando a la plaza de la Corredera, una taberna moderna y clásica a la vez. Se pueden probar platos típicos, en un ambiente agradable, y a un precio bueno. El personal es muy simpático, lo recomiendo.

La entrada parece la de una tienda antigua, pero no os dejéis engañar. Dentro cambia la cosa. Nos pedimos salmorejo, rabo de toro y un postre que no me acuerdo y estaba todo buenísimo. Y el precio muy bien. Recomendable al 100%.

The entrance looks like an old shop, but do not be fooled. The thing changes inside. We ordered salmorejo, oxtail and a dessert that I do not remember and it was all great. And the price very well. 100% recommended
