Perfect for Sunday tapas
El Buho is a lively tapas joint right in the heart of La Latina, but a bit off of the Cava Baja tourist trail. They serve the typical mix of vermouths, beers, wine, and cocktails, but the standout thing here are the "raciones" (large, full-plate tapas, basically).
They have things like deep fried brie fingers with hazelnut caramel, "huevos rotos" (sunny-side up eggs over potatoes and spiced meat...delicious), ham, croquettes, and some really thick Spanish omelettes overflowing with runny, eggy goodness and all finds of fillings.
We ordered the morcilla (a blood sausage made with rice) with quails eggs and fried Padrón peppers.
