Monte Corrasi (1463m) is a relatively easy walk from Olieana.
We started from the Coop Enis rifugio. The first part follows a road with a few walking path shortcuts. When you arrive at the shepherds huts the road becomes a stony path. This zig-zags up the vertical face of the Supramonte.
There are extensive views of Oliena and Nuoro. Since it was Easter Sunday the sound of gunfire ricocheted off the rocks as the local brigands below started their celebrations. The path arrives at the spectacular, rocky karst plateau and the path to Monte Corrasi leads off from the small shrine. Climbing up through twisted dwarf pines and limestone outcrops you arrive at the summit with views across to Dorgali, su Gorropu, the coast and the selvaggio blu.
