One of the most beautiful beaches in the world
The Sunshine Beach Inn is a very nice little hotel situated on the beautiful beach of Mirissa. For me, it is one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, and when we went in August there were only about 20 other tourists there. What a luxury. The Sunshine offers both cabins and rooms, with a mosquito net and a fan. It was badly damaged during the 2004 tsunami but it has been renovated since. It is run by a friendly family who can help you order a tuk tuk or rent a bicycle to explore the area, and they also prepare you meals if you want.
