Sunflower Hostel Berlin

Si vuelvo a Berlín seguro me quedo otra vez en el Sunflower. Este curioso hostel situado en el este de la ciudad (a tiro de piedra de la parada de metro/tren de Warschauer Str.) tiene todo lo que cualquier mochilero puede desear: habitaciones amplias y limpias; una inmensa sala común con WIFI y muchos elementos de ocio y superviviencia (¡como lavadoras y secadoras!); y, no menos importante, precios económicos. Pero si algo me gustó especialmente de este hostel que recomendaría hasta a mi madre (si, habéis leído bien), fue su decoración. Las paredes del Sunflower están llenas de graffitis ochenteros. Elmo, Darth Vader, el monstruo de las galletas, Supercoco, paracaidistas, etc. Hasta la basura es mona porque la custodia el Monstruo de la Basura. Mola un montón. Respecto a las habitaciones cero pegas puedo poner a excepción de que a la mía no llegaba bien Internet. Yo me alojé en la 116 y fantástico. Tenía hasta balconcito exterior y la cama, en contra de lo que suele ser la tónica en este tipo de alojamientos, estaba colocada sobre un somier de madera. Era muy, muy cómoda (¿o será que yo estaba muy cansada? No, creo que realmente era cómoda). Los precios empiezan en 10 euros en habitación compartida y van subiendo. Si lo deseas por tres euros puedes desayunar allí mismo y, si por la noche no quieres salir, la enorme y acogedora recepción se transforma en un bar harto animado. Disfruta del ambiente berlinés, conoce viajeros y tomate unas cerves allí, ya sea dentro o fuera en su terraza con mesas. Para cualquier duda pregunta a sus empelados, son la mar de majos y, no pocas veces, hablan un perfecto castellano.

If I go to Berlin again I stay safe on the Sunflower. This quaint hostel located in the east of the city (a stone's throw from the metro / train Warschauer Str) has everything a backpacker could want: spacious and clean rooms; a huge common room with WIFI and many leisure and survival items (such as washers and dryers!); and, not least, low prices. But if anything I particularly liked this hostel would recommend to my mother (yes, you read that right), was the decor. Sunflower walls are full of graffiti eighties. Elmo, Darth Vader, the Cookie Monster, Supercoco, paratroopers, etc.. Even the garbage is mona for custody Garbage Monster. Really cool. Regarding the rooms can put zero fault except that mine did not come either Internet. I stayed in the 116 and fantastic. Had to outdoor balcony and the bed, against what is usually the norm in this type of accommodation was placed on a wooden bed frame. It was very, very comfortable (or was it that I was very tired No, I really was comfortable). Prices start at 10 euro shared room and go up. If desired for three euros you can have breakfast right there, and if at night you do not want to go, the huge and welcoming reception becomes a lively bar sick. Enjoy the Berlin atmosphere, known reviews and a tomato Cerves there, either inside or outside on the terrace with tables. Any questions ask their employees are nice people and the sea, not infrequently speak perfect Castilian.

Supe que alojarme en este hostal fue un acierto nada más entrar por la puerta. No sé si fue su peculiar decoración o la amabilidad de los recepcionistas (o ambas cosas) pero este hostal transmite un buen rollo que te atrapa desde el principio. Cada pasillo está decorado por temáticas, y las habitaciones son totalmente personalizadas también. Lo mejor de todo es que como no se encuentra en el centro, la zona es muy tranquila y a la vez, silenciosa por la noche. De todas formas, la estación de metro y de tren está a unos 3 minutos caminando, desde donde puedes llegar en cuestión de 10 minutos a pleno centro de Berlín. La próxima vez que vuelva a Berlín es muy posible que vuelva a hospedarme aquí. Muy recomendable.

I knew that staying at this hostel was a success nothing else enter the door. Not s if it was his unique decor and the friendliness of the receptionists (or both) but this hostel transmits a good feeling that grabs you from the beginning. Each hall is decorated by thematic, and the rooms are also fully customized. Best of all is that as it is not in the center, the area is very quiet at the same time, silent at night. Anyway, the metro station and train station is about 3 minutes walk, from where you can reach in a matter of 10 minutes to the center of Berlin. The next time you return to Berlin is likely to staying here again. Highly recommended.
