The death cultura in Toraja is their main celebration. People save up for a lifetime for their deaths. Death is a huge celebration in Kete-Kesu (a traditional type of house) that lasts a minimum of 5 full days and attracts hundreds of friends and family members to it. In this ethnic Catholic ceremony they sacrifice buffalos and other animals. The dead person sometimes waits years until their ceremony is thrown.
