Sugag Market

Sugag is a quiet field in the region of Sebes. We arrived from Jina, the highest town in Romania, on a dirt road. There is a crossing a little further where buses go to Sibiu and the region. We liked the market because it was very natural. So such thing as tourist objects or products made in China. Just local fruits and vegetables. Peaches, wild strawberries, apricots, onions, potatoes, carrots and cabbage. It is the basis of the diet in the field of Romania. Served with pork, bacon or sausage.

Sugag is a quiet village in the countryside of Sebes. It comes from Jina, the highest village in Romania, by a dirt road, and this is not the place the best location in the world. There is a crossroads a little further where buses go to Sibiu region. The market was nice because it was very natural. Not a tourist object or product made in China, just fruits and vegetables in the area. We then take this beautiful time of early summer to taste peaches, apricots, cherries or blueberries, berries ... in vegetables is more limited, potatoes and cabbage, carrots and onions are the basics of the diet of the Romanian Peasant. Accompanied by pork, smoked sausage or salami.
