USS Pampanito

Excellent

This was a great submarine during WWII in the Pacific that downed 6 enemy ships, rescued 73 men, and brought them all the way to the United States. Inside, you can feel the claustrophobia that submarine crews must have felt, as it is quite small. The tour takes us through the kitchen, dining room, offices and bedrooms. I recommend you visit, it's cheap ($10), and it puts you in the story enough to marvel how they lived day to day in places as tiny as this.
