Subida al Saibi

Otra de las excursiones que hicimos en el Parque Natural de Urkiola, fue la subida al pico Saibi, caracterizado por la cruz que hay en su cima. La subida parte de las cercanías del Centro de Interpretación del parque, unos metros antes de llegar al mismo. Según la señal, desde este punto hay 2 kilómetros hasta la cima. La mayor parte del trayecto transcurre por camino asfaltado, así que es fácil de caminar y no es excesivamente empinado. Eso sí, hay que ir siguiendo los carteles y no "innovar" u os puede pasar como a nosotros, que nos metimos por otro sitio para ir a la sombra, pensando que daba al mismo sitio, y resulta que el camino estaba cortado y tuvimos que dar la vuelta. Según nos dijeron en el Centro de Interpretación, esta ruta la suelen recomendar para hacer con niños, ya que es de las más suaves de la zona.
