A Compulsory Stop
We stopped at the beautiful town of Stryn to appreciate the beauty of Hornindal Lake, the deepest lake in Europe with a maximum depth of 514 meters. Something we strongly recommend seeing. Being a big town (having about 3,000 inhabitants and that is lots for Norway) it is an ideal place to stop to shop, relax, eat and visit the bank, the post office etc. Within Stryn other than the lake area, where you can spend hours looking at the horizon, you have other options such as visiting the church or the Nordsida Innvik, but certainly one of its most important attractions is its ski station: the Sommarskisenter
