One of the 4 Viking towns in Denmark
Firkat is one of 4 Vikings found in Denmark, and is currently a museum. The reception and restaurant are part of a structure made up of 9 houses as a farmhouse, belonging to a landowner of the time. They are all constructed exactly in the Viking style. The historic fort dates back to the year 980, during the reign of Harold Bluetooth, the Danish Viking King. It is surrounded by a circular wall of mud, which was constructed around the area. We had 16 houses whose status is currently marked with white stones. Outside the walls they reconstructed one of those houses, 28.5 m long and made entirely of oak.
