Tremendous peace
Walking through this town, that was the ancient capital of the region, this is "only" a tremendous peace, enjoy the sound of water running, the wind moving the leaves of the trees and the birds chirping all around you. The rest of noises to which Europeans are used to don't exist in this wonderful place. In the old part of town, that is shown in the video, there are only colorful houses, covered with flowers and hanging clothes drying in the sun. In the newest parts of town, there are shops and a dirt road that takes you north or south of the Kullu valley, but this was not interesting enough to record.
This town is a lovely option for a couple of days and it is along the road to other interesting places such as north Manali, south Kullu or amazing east Malana. You have to go on an excursion into the mountain peaks. It is only about 35km, but it will take about two days because of the steepness of the road.
