Madaba is not a particularly nice town to walk through, but can act as a great starting point for wandering the streets of Jordan. In general, the Jordanians are characterized by kindness, so be sure to walk around and chat with people in stores. Curiously, one third of the population of this city are Christians, and it is the fifth most populous in the country, so it is easy to find all kinds of shops there.

A Madaba non c'è molto da vedere oltre alla chiesa di San Giorgio con il suo famoso mosaico, ma è possibile approfittare della visita per fare una passeggiata e magari comprare qualcosa. Ci sono infatti alcune vie dove si concentrano negozi di souvenir con molte cose proprio per i turisti. Se invece vi allontanate un po' potrete trovare negozi più autentici.

A Madaba is not much to see besides the church of San Giorgio with its famous mosaic, but you can take advantage of the visit to take a stroll and maybe buy something. There are in fact some of the streets where they are concentrated souvenir shops with a lot of things just for the tourists. However, if you leave a little 'you can find the most authentic shops.
