Biggest technological festival
The Street Parade is the 2nd biggest technological festival in the world after the Love Parade. It usually takes place the 2nd Saturday in August every year. The festival runs along Lake Zurich where different caravans go by, each with music and a different show. The city is transformed into a type of club during the day where not only techno lovers enjoy the party. Around 8pm the caravan stop their route around the streets to allow the parties to get started. One of the best is the central railway station party. The main hall is transformed into a nightclub, open until the wee hours of the morning.
In recent years there has been over half a million party goers.
