Stirling Bagpipes
Below the castle in the historic center, there are more traditional shops such as a bagpipe shop and workshop, one of the most traditional and representative of Scotland. The store, called Stirling Bagpipes, is an example of traditional bagpipes, so the prices are scary (as you'll see on the website), although the experts are certainly a nationwide reference point. Its owner, Alan, explained in detail the art of making and using a bagpipe, though we are not experts we could see their enthusiasm, hear the bagpipe and its characteristic sound that was a notice of arrival at battlefields (earlier the Picts did the same with horns).
