Stiftsgarden

Dicen que es el edificio de madera más grande de Europa, se trata de la residencia real en Trondheim, y cuenta con 4000 metros cuadrados. El edificio se construyó en 1778 para la viuda de un acaudalado comerciante, y prominente noble de Dinamarca. En 1800 la residencia fue vendida al estado, siendo residencia del gobernador, tribunal de justicia, o sede del banco de Noruega.

They say it is the most largest wooden building in Europe, it is the royal residence in Trondheim, and has 4,000 square meters. The building was constructed in 1778 for the widow of a wealthy merchant and prominent noble Denmark. In 1800 the residence was sold to the state, being governor's residence, court, or headquarters of the bank in Norway.
