La statue de San Martín est une statue équestre de Mariano Benlliure, elle est située au centre de la palce du même nom dans le centre historique de Lima. The statue of San Martín is an equestrian statue of Mariano Benlliure, it is located in the center of the palce of the same name in the historical center of Lima. It was erected to commemorate the year of the first centenary of the independence of the Peruvian nation. San Martin is an important figure in the history of the country, the struggle for independence from the Spanish. The statue is made of bronze on a white base that appears to be granite, it is impressive because of its size of about fifteen meters.
