This is a monument which is dedicated to the most famous citizen of Bonn in the world. It is situated in the middle of the main square of the city, at the foot of the cathedral. The statue is constructed of bronze and was erected in the year 1845, on the 75th anniversary of the birth of Ludwig Beethoven. You must not miss it if you visit Bonn.
